It can pose a safety risk, as it reduces the visibility of objects and the eye’s sensitivity to contrast. For this reason, your customers may struggle to see when car headlights create glare, especially when driving at night, in rain, mist or dusk.

Reduced glare at night
- Market research and scientific evidence both indicate that glare that may be perceived by your customers in traffic is linked in particular to LED and Xenon HID light sources. These are used in modern car lighting technology.
- DuraVision® DriveSafe UV Coatings partially reflect the high energy wavelengths (blue rays) responsible for glare, and therefore reduce the perceived glare up to 64 % compared to premium ZEISS Coatings.
